Psalm 91:7-9

⁷At your side one thousand people may ·die [^Lfall],
    or even ten thousand ·right beside you [^Lat your right hand],
    but ·you will not be hurt [^Lit will not touch you].
⁸You will only ·watch [^Llook with your eyes]
    and see the wicked ·punished [recompensed].

⁹·The Lord is your protection [^LFor you, Lord, are my refuge];
you have made God Most High your ·place of safety [dwelling place].
